2nd Trimester

Sorry for TMI, but wondering if anyone having any vaginal pain/contractions at 16 wks?

Okay so, I have had 2 children already and never experienced the pain I am feeling now this early in pregnancy, besides the childbirth. Throughout lastnight and today I have had thse painful contractions every so often that make me double over in pain. I remember fairly easy pregnancies with my other two and am just wondering if I am over reacting or if I should go to the er? Any opinions or answers are greatly appreciated!

  • This is a question for your OB not us!! Tongue Tied I'd definitely call your OB

Def something to call doc about stat.

  • If it's that painful, I would definitely call your doc.  Hope all is ok!

  • I Definitely would call your ob
  • Thanks everyone, I go to a clinic in the hospital and when you call they just tell you to go to the ER no matter what. Labor and Delivery won't take you til your 20 weeks. But thanks anyway. Should probably leave work early and head to the ER for an all nighter. :-(

  • I would call the OB to be safe...but I asked my doc about this "lightening crotch" thing...if that's what you're talking about - its RLP

  • I'd probably get it checked out - if you don't want to go to the ER maybe call your OB to see if you can get an appt tomorrow for a problem check.
