dh was laid off in July and was juts offered a 4-6 week contract job. The thing is, it isn't a w2 contract but a 1099 contract. He is afraid he would lose the possibility of getting unemployment benefits if the contract doesn't entend or turn into something else after the 4-6 weeks.

Does anyone know anything about this?
