I know many moms suggest this as a PP must-have.
We are starting to get our 36 week home visit kit together and I am not sure about the logistics of this great tip!
Do you get the diapers wet and then freeze them or just add ice to a regular diaper?
Re: Frozen Diapers for PP
For you? I've heard of freezing maxi pads (like making a giant frozen tuck's pad) but I'm not sure about freezing diapers?
I think she means freezing NB diapers to use to sooth achy boobs...
I've only heard of it once or twice, though. You might want to ask 0-6 how helpful it was/wasn't for them.
Yes I keep hearing that you can sit on them or use them on your aching boobs as they are bigger than maxi-pad.
I think I will also ask 0-6.
While I was still in the hospital after delivering DS #1, they showed my hubby how to make ice diapers - pull apart the newborn diaper and put the ice in (my hospital has the little pellets). They were heaven.
When we got home, I just used Tucks pads on top of my maxi pads and plan to do the same this time. You can also (like pp have said) put some witch hazel on your maxi pads and put them in the freezer - same concept as the Tucks.
