Wow -- it's like having a new house!

DH and I finally broke down and hired a painter to do some much-needed work on our house. He painted the outside, stained the deck, put up crown moulding, painted the living room, dining room, hallway, and foyer and today he is painting the master bedroom.

If only I could find anything. We had to move most everything out of the upstairs of our house. It took me 20 minutes to find matching socks this morning.

There's nothing quite like paint (and new crown moulding!) to completely change a house. I always drag my heels when it comes to painting because it's such a pain in the arse and once it's done I wonder why I waited so long.
