Not baby name related....

...what bred is your dog?  I have one that looks very similar but no one knows his bred.  I'm sure he's a mixture of sorts.  When I adopted him from the shelter he was listed as Alaskan Malamute but he didn't grow up to be one (other than his love for the snow)!  Anyway, just curious.  TIA!

We got her from a local animal shelter, and she was listed as an "Australian shepherd mix."  She doesn't look at all like the typical Australian shepherd, though.  After many Google searches, I can't come up with any better ideas.   I have found a few pictures of mostly black Australian shepherds, but it's definitely not the most common color.  I'm not sure what else she's mixed with.  She's a little bigger than the typical Australian shepherd, and her head is a lot more broad.  So really she's just an average pound mutt!

  That's what I've decided with my boy too! A lot of people have suggested he's Australian Shepherd mix and he may very well be.  However he's 85 lbs so much heavier and taller.  Oh well, I may never know but I'll love him just the same.
