FWIW, if the ring were large, my first thought would have been "Woah! That ring is huge!"

It IS the focus of the picture --- of course there is going to be comments on it.

I didnt respond then but will now.  Those were both amazing shots.  Dh and I went to Sears for our engagement pics and I HATE them.  We both look aweful because of the lack of natural lighting and horrible camera angles.  I wish so bad that we would have had a photographer take a few shots of us.  But we were both young.  I was only 18, a SR in hs and didnt know that such wonderful pics could be taken by real photographers.  

I really like the one with the ring and I dont think it needs to be photoshopped for any reason.  I love their expressions in the back and the focus on the ring.    Great idea.  

I also think the second one is really cute.  

You should come to VA and take some family pics for me!  You take amazing pictures and I always enjoy seeing them.
