And, I think it's because my iron is low, but I cannot stomach meat...I've been taking my vitamins, and eating leafy greens and peanut butter, but still dizzy....Anyone else in the same boat??
I was around 15 wks as well. I didn't start eating meat again until about a week ago. It would make me sick eating, and even thinking about it. Have you talked to your OB?
I had low iron even before I was pregnant, so I get dizzy a lot now. Another annoying thing that helps is pausing before you stand up and MAKE yourself go slowly. Its so hard for me, because I tend to just jump up every time, no matter what, but then I fall over a lot :-( DH is constantly steading me, and then repremanding for not going slow.
I was dizzy around 15 weeks, too. I made sure to drink lots of water (with added lemon or a dash of cranberry juice to make it more tasty) and eat protein rich foods. I couldn't do meat either....so I stuck to cheese, yogurt, peanut butter. Also, when you move from laying or sitting to standing...do it slowly....it helps. I still take my time now just because that dizzy feeling is awful even though most of my dizziness is gone at this point.
I was constantly dizzy for a few days this week. I felt like I was drunk because it was even when I was just standing still. I think mine had to do with my blood pressure because I already have low blood pressure and being pregnant hasn't exactly helped. After a day of eating more salty foods I felt better. I added lots of water too.
I went through this also. I too did not eat meat and still cannot stomach very much of it. However, I think the reason for my dizziness was not drinking enough water. My OB stressed drinking water. Once I was consistently drinking more water the dizziness subsided. I have notice it coming back a bit along with headaches, but I've let my water intake slip again.

Def. talk to your OB if it continues....
Thanks for the advice, everyone!
I'll try more water, and see if it helps.?
