2nd Trimester

Random thought

So last night I was walking through Target and like always started to browse through the baby section. I was thinking that since our baby will be born in February it will have a few months of cold weather but we hadn't planned on buying clothes till January. Then it hit me with the way retail works in January all we will be able to find is swimsuits! Our Target has winter clothes now in August and by January will have summer clothes!

Anybody else stocking up on some warm things now before they're gone?

Re: Random thought

  • As soon as I find out the sex i'm going shopping. I thinking what you were, the retail stores are always ahead of the season, BUT they might have great clearance once it gets cold!

  • No, and I wish I had to. We live in Vegas so it'll still be in the 70's in January :-( I'm from PA and for the first time in my life I'm going to miss the snow and the cold.

  • we've been getting 6-9 month things now for next spring summer and fall.  We'll be getting some 0-6 month stuff when the winter things start finding their way into the stores.  Honestly, I'm more concerned about finding winter things than the other seasons.  You can always put a longsleeve onside on under a dress or a shortsleeve shirt to make it a bit warmer for fall and spring, but warm things are a must for Winter, atleast here.

Texas doesn't have much of a winter either.

Ah can I steal your great danes? We had a harlequin great dane for 12 years until she passed away :-(

OK I live in SO cal so really we don't get too cold either probably 50's or 60's during the day and maybe 40's at night.
