  • I don't have a daughter but I can help you a bit with athletic shoes. New Balance, Geox, and Vans are pretty good for wide feet. Vans don't have a specific wide size but their shoes are pretty wide naturally. Stay away from brands like LaCoste, Puma, Nike and Kenneth Cole as they all run pretty narrow.

  • Pedipeds, and we actually just bought a pair of Pumas that fit well, and those are the first pair of tennis shoes we've found to fit her feet.
  • I found that Payless has a really good selection of wide children's shoes.  I hate buying her shoes that are expensive because she outgrows them so fast.  HTH

  • We do Stride Rites, but I get them from Marshalls and Ross or the Stride Rite Outlet. My daughter is in wide and my son is in double wide!!! so it's hard to find shoes that fit.

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a hard time finding shoes!  We do stride rite, but I'd like to find other shoes that fit.  Right now, my DS only has 1 pair of shoes that fit, and they are XXW!
