I put a package of ground beef in my freezer about a month ago. When it was put in, the meat was red (the normal color.) I took it out last night to defrost it in my refrigerator and noticed that it turned brown. Is this safe to cook or should I dump it and buy fresh meat? I've never had this happen before....

That's happened to me before, and the meat was perfectly fine. I think it's just from being frozen and defrosted.
