aversion to water and morning sickness was gone...until last night when I spent an hour and a half puking up everything I ate for the day after guzzling a bottle of water cause Iwas so damn thirsty. I don't want to puke anymore. It just hurts. And makes me revisit 1st tri.

doesnt Crystal Light have artificial sweeteners in it?
Both of these things actually have studies that they are bad during pregnancy. Crystal Light has aspartame in it which some studies suggest lead to learning disorders, pregnancy complications etc. Green tea can affect your body's folic acid levels. It actually counteracts the folic acid that your body produces naturally and that you get from orange juice, prenatals etc.
I never knew before this year that water could upset my stomach! Talk about weird!!
The Crystal Light thing helped sooooo much! I could keep that down when nothing else would work. I even got those ones with protein (appetite suppressors) so that I could at least get some protein in me too. I ate little things all day long even with the crystal light drinks so that hopefully some of it would stay down. By the time I got sick of all the various crystal light flavors I could handle regular water again! Hit your grocery store and look for those CL singles and koolaid ones!
I'm still taking my nausea meds nightly b.c I couldn't stop puking.
I drink lemonade at night when I don't feel well and am thirsty. For some reason water at night does not mix well with my stomach. I make it really weak so I don't have all the sugar intake.
The artificial sweeteners that concern people are in crystal light, yes. But, my dr was more concerned with getting ANY water in me than the sweeteners...no water is a more definite concern over a fairly small amt of fake sugar. I do agree that if you end up drinking TONS of Crystal Light you should ask your dr if that concerns them. I am not fond of green tea (tried all sorts of tea and just don't like them) so I'm no help on that one.
Everything in moderation if its a normal, not unhealthy item. Not sure what is in the koolaid packs though...maybe that one has something less 'worrisome'?
