Do you have a nickname for LO?

Just for fun....we've taken to calling LO "Limey" since the week where she was the size of a Lime.  I have a friend who called her baby Tangey for the longest time!  It's nice before you know the sex to have a name to go by....

How do you refer to your little one?

We used up all our nn on DD, and now I feel weird calling another baby by those same names!  Peanut, pumpkin, nugget, sweet pea, bug--all of these refer to DD in my mind.  This poor little guy is never going to have a nn...

Well we are team green, but DH and I both have a feeling its a boy... however we have been calling LO "Boudreaux" yes, as in the butt paste you see in the advertisemets in the back of parenting mag's and on the shelves of BRU.

When we were starting our registry at BRU DH saw this item on the shelf and thought it was the funniest thing - also DH's mother's side of the family is all french-canadian so its sorta fitting.

I'm convinced we're having a boy, and that he will look just like DH. We've been calling LO Tee-Boo. ?Boo is DH's nn, and Tee is cajun for little (DH is from Louisiana).

I call her Lovebug.  DH calls her LeeLee.  We've also called her our little beaner because she looked like a lima bean at our first u/s.

We call her Lo literally.  My husband said even though she has a name (Gianna), when she gets here he isstill going to call her Lo because she is his little one.

We have been calling the LO "Bean", since we thought it would be no bigger than a bean when we found out I was pregnant.

We have called our LO Chicken since we found out we were pg. Now that we know she is a girl and she has a name we go back and forth between her name and chicken.

This is going to sound so funny but we call it Meow Meow. This is because our DS who is 5 told me to have a secret code every time I felt the baby kick. He would tell me to meow. So all day I'm walking around like "meow, meow, meow" and he just started calling it Meow Meow. This poor child! I hope once we have a name and know what we're having this will pass!

We call him/her gummy bear. Mostly because when we got the first ultrasound at 8 weeks, the tech said that all babies around that age looked like little gummy bears. Ours did, too, so it kind of stuck.

Since we haven't decided on a name, we call him Little Jorge.  I said I wanted to name him after one of the Yankees... (only half kidding!)

We call her "The Deuce" b/c she is our 2nd child. Now that we know she is a girl, though, the deuce sounds a bit too masculine!

A friend called both of her LO's "Maggot" before they arrived.  I wanted to be amused, but I wasn't.

I call him my little goldfish muffin(or GM for short), LOL, only because girls are cupcakes and boys are muffins, also when he kicks and moves right now, he feels like a little goldfish in my tummy.

In the beginning, I called LO "Bug" because when I first started getting M/S I didn't know I was preg, just thought it was a stomach bug. Haha!  But once I found out that she was a baby in there, "Bug" she was. Until we found out the sex at 18 weeks.....  Since then, we picked her name - Jillian, and we have been calling her "Jillie" or "Jillie Bean."

our first was stewie-after the baby on family guy.    she even has a stewie bobble head doll!

When I first found out I was pregnant I kept saying that I loved my Baby Boo, so the nn is "Boo" now. My dad calls it Bump, and now that we know she's a girl he calls her "Bumpette".

Goose, as in "Christmas Goose" - he is due the 27th. So I don't have a bun in the oven, I am cooking a Christmas Goose! Since we found out he's a boy, we've been calling him by his name.

before we knew she was a girl, we would say "Scooter" or "Frog" and i would say "Little Kid"... Little Kid is still in use, but mostly "Little Sister" (even though she is the only one) or her name, Hayden.

We call ours 26. Even though we recently found out 26 is a boy (omg a boy after 5 girls!!) I still find myself calling him 26.
