On the way home from child birth class he brought up for at least the third time that we really need to discuss what types of extraordinary means I would want taken if something were to go wrong during child birth.   Now I know that having this conversation is the sensible thing to do, but this is the same man that won't have a conversation about getting life insurance because he feels like he is betting against himself!

Tell him that you'll draw up a health care proxy with instructions if he'll get some gosh darn life insurance. None of these conversations are fun, you just kinda have to have them once and get them over with.

haha my DH won't even get regular insurance let along life insurance for the same reason ... stupid men lol.

He's like you know where all of our money is you can live for X amount of months off of it and just put the house up for sale and you have get the equity out of it lol
