What to do??? re: fall/winter clothes

DD is a solid 2T right now.  Should I buy 2T for this fall winter or 3T???

I think she will outgrow 2T before the warm weather returns but, in the meantime, will 3T be too big and look sloppy???

Thx!

  • I think there is such a big difference between 2T and 3T that I'd probably go for the smaller size.

  • We're buying 3T tops (unless they look huge) and 2T pants. DD has a narrow waist and 3s fall right down.  2Ts are still a good length, too.  So at least she'll get a lot of wear out of most of her clothes from the waist up.  ;)

  • Get a 3T outfit, see if it has any chance of staying on. If it does, buy 3T, if not buy 2T.

  • buy both.  If I'm unsure about it, I buy short sleeve in the larger size only if I think I can layer a longsleeve something under it or top it with a cardigan or both.  So we have some dresses with leggings that I can layer long sleeve under it...  you never know how long winter can last, especially given the mild summer.  worried it may be a long winter.
  • We have bought 3 T sizes, though she may need a belt. she is one skiny but tall girl!
