help!! I have a cold!!

I am 19 weeks pregnant and have a cold, or sinuses, or something along those lines. I cannot breathe through my nose what-so-ever. I can't call my doctor since it's the weekend, and I have an appointment with my OB on wednesday. I need to know if there is ANYTHING at all to help me breathe that is pregnant friendly. PLEASE HELP!!

    i *think* sudafed, but i would check.  Most OBs give out a list of acceptable foods and medicines.  GL and hope you feel better

    Thank you!! I have heard sudafed as well, but I think I'll just wait for my appointment. I drank some hot tea with lemon earlier and is working pretty well.

    Original sudafed is ok, I remember because I had the list of meds my Ob gave me when I went to the pharmacy to get it and had to practically kill the pharmacist to get it because he was like uhh your not supposed to take this. I had to shove the paper in his face to get the damn box. He probably thought I was a meth addict ha!

    If you're afraid to take anything, steam will help open up things.  Take a hot shower or boil some water and then put your face in the steam.  The second also makes for a nice facial!
