Bellybuttons.

I have always liked my belly button. It was little and cute. A very nicely done innie.

 Now it is noticeably shallower, and a tiny bit wider. I can actually see the bottom of it. 

Part of me is fascinated, another part is a bit horrified. What if it pokes out!?! It doesn't really matter, the world isn't going to end, but these visible changes  (like my boobs, what the heck is going on there) just make me feel like I'm totally not ready for this.

So, who else has been staring at their bellybuttons lately?

It WILL poke out. Expect it. But, it will return to normal, just like your vagina.

It fascinated me with my first pregnancy, too, lol

Ok so my SIL who has two kids told me it's going to pop. My friend who has three kids told me that it popped with her twins but not with her first.  all I know is that I am starting to see a little bit of a protrude and I don't think it's going to stop. I touched on the inside and it's really sensitive.   Don't get me started with all the changes, I don't even recognize my areolas.

I've been watching mine get shallower by the day. It's so weird to watch it going away. I'm with you I really like mine I hope it comes back the same as it was.

I'm hoping mine doesn't pop - it was "deep" to begin with.  lol  We'll see.  I am freaked out by the linea negra, the brown nipples and seemingly bigger aerolas, etc, etc, etc.

Mine has is a lot shallower and super wide. it's funny because you can see my bellybutton when I wear tight shirts!   <-- like that!

DH was just commenting / making fun of my now wide bellybutton this morning.. hadn't really noticed it until he pointed it out -- thanks hun.

i havent seen my belly button in about a year since its pierced so the ring blocks it.

My belly button was always deep.. I'm kinda hoping it doesn't pop.  The whole idea sounds a little painful to me, though I"m sure it's not. LOL.

I haven't noticed the linea negra yet either.  Not sure if it's too early for that yet though.

Mine is kinda deep too and never came close to popping out with my son.  It got a bit wider but not really shallower.

Don't know if you can see it here, but this is the day I had my c-section.  Still an innie

Not everyone's does pop. Mine didn't come close with my son. I havnt noticed a change yet. Hoping it is the same this time around!

This made me LOL and I had to read it to my DH. Just the image in my mind of comparing an innie belly button to a vagina...hilarious!
