Just a random question for everyone over in the 2nd....

We are 5w2d with a really sticky baby I'm praying this time! So far so good, no early cramping like the last two that ended in m/c. Really super sore nipples yesterday and today...which I hear from my doc should be a good sign! Anyhow, just so my DH and I can get an idea of when I'll pop (start showing) when did your belly start to grow? We are in the mix of trying to figure out when in the second trimester we want to tell the family. Yeah I know your all thinking...."the second trimester?" We just want to make sure everything goes well and we have a healthy baby! Thanks for your input....

14 weeks is when we told everyone - I had a lil belly then. Congrats to you!

First time around I started showing around 15 or 16 weeks. But everyone is different.  A lot is going to depend on your starting weight, body type, etc., etc.  (and between, we waited until the 2nd tri both times)

my belly is still not very big   around 22 weeks I think people started wondering, now they can definitely tell.

We told everyone at 13w3d. I started showing at ~16wks.

We were going to wait, but our families both live far away and we told them at about 8 weeks when we went for our last summer visit.  I have just started showing a little... although it looks like a big gut instead of a baby and I am 14 weeks.

We told everyone at 10 weeks (I know, kinda early!) and I started to get a tiny belly at 13 weeks. Congrats to you, and I'm hoping you get a sticky baby too!

I am just starting to show now (21 weeks).  We told at 12 weeks.

We told our family before the end of 1st tri, but as far as showing...I had bloat at 14 weeks, bump at 18

We told our families at the end of week 13.  I'm 16 weeks and am just starting to show.

I started getting a teeny belly between 13-16 weeks, but it's only been in the last week that I am obviously pregnant.

I started wearing maternity clothes at 17 weeks.  DH and I could tell my belly was growing ~14 weeks.  I had 1 person guess at 18 weeks, other than that I think people (that didn't know) could start to tell around 23 weeks.

We told everyone at 12 weeks.  I had a bloat-bump around 14-15 weeks, but finally got more of a real bump over the last week (week 16).  GL to you for a sticky baby!

Thank you all for your responses! I'm hoping you all continue to have a wonderful pregnancy. I can't wait to get to my first appt to confirm the due date....we go in Sept 10! Woohoo!
