I lost my camera at my friend's wedding last weekend (it's now swimming with the fishes in the carribean) so now it's time to get a new one. I was wondering what type of camera do you have? What would you recommend? What do you like/not like about it? My last camera was a Kodak 12 mp with a recahargable battery built in (no AAs) which I really liked. TIA!!!

Re: NTTTCR: Camera recs?
I am a die-hard Canon enthusiast.
I have a Canon D300 (it's an SLR) from 2005, a Canon Powershot A570IS from 2007, and a Canon SD880IS from 2009. The last two are Point-and-shoots.. the A-series is more boxy but has a good grip if you're clumsy with cameras, whereas the SD-series is sleeker and fits in your pocket.
I definitely recommend Image Stabiliz. (denoted by "IS" after the model number for Canon series) as it really reduces the shake!
