IUI right after HSG

I had my HSG on Monday. When I made my appointment, I asked the nurse if it would interfere with my IUI this month, and she said No. So I went for it.

This AM I was talking to my Dr. about my HSG and he asked when I got it done and I told him. He said he never had done an IUI that soon after an HSG and he didn't know how it would effect my lining. He didn't say anything about my lining at the consultation about my US yesterday. 

Has anyone had an HSG the same week as an IUI?

I did. I had an HSG on a Monday and then my IUI the Wed. of the same week (ovulated early). RE didn't mention anything about this being a problem. Good luck!

I didn't have an IUI during the same week as IUI, but I did get pregnant "naturally" the same week I had my HSG.

After trying for over a year,  I went for the HSG and got pregnant that same month.  Some people believe the HSG clears things out and helps to encourage a pregnancy. 

I asked my doc about that after I got pregnant.  He thought I was NUTS!

I have also heard that some women get pregnant after their HSG with no other intervention.
