MOTY, right here.

Will and I went to Target to get a few last minute things for tonight.  We get home and I realized I didnt' fasten his carseat belt.  Ugh.  I feel horrible.  Target is all of two minutes from our house, but still.  It's a super busy road and I am so thankful we were okay.

No excuses, but he has been up since 5:30 and I am already *slightly* preoccupied with party prep.  Ugh.  I am terrible.

  • I did that once and didn't realize until my son said "Mommy, I'm not buckled!" I have NO clue how I missed it, but I guess it happens to the best of us :)

  • I've done it and it is the worst feeling. I am glad that with all of us that have done it has all turned out fine.

  • My DH has done that once, and so have I. I promise you it'll be the last time you ever do it. I am a FREAK about checking it now. I'll buckle it, then check it in the rear-view before I pull out, then check it again while I'm driving. I felt like such an ass when I did it because we live off of a very busy street. I didn't get very far, but it still could have been a disaster!
