And, I'm totally not trying to snark on you (like, at all), but aren't you pregnant? If so, no more tattoos until your new DC is born. Tattooing during pregnancy is a no-no.

hee, hee. I know your not being snarky :-). I figured so early in the pregnancy it wouldn't matter. No more tattoos at all until after the next one is born...lol.
Good. I'm glad you didn't think I was trying to get all "holier than thou" on you. You should be okay, but no more! I know it's super early for you, so they probably didn't ask. However, most shops make you sign a waiver saying you're not preggers.
At any rate, what's done is done. It's still a really cute tattoo. Enjoy!
I have a few tattoos, and have a couple of friends who are tattoo artists - and the general consensus is that tattooing while pregnant carries the same risks as it does when you are not pregnant. Meaning, there are the same risks of infection if you don't go to a clean studio, etc etc. So assuming you go to a high end place, and they open all of the pieces in front of you and plastic bag their machines, etc - you're probably fine. But there are no different risks while pregnant than while not.
The only thing is you might find it takes a little longer to completely heal over, because your body is busy incubating and such - and doesn't give as much to your healing tattoo. So just take care of it, and do all the post-ink care that you normally would, until it's totally healed.
But its' really cute. I can't wait to go get some more

Umm, hello??? Did I miss your BFP announcement??? How exciting!!! Where's your ticker? How pg are you? When are you due? Can you tell I am excited for you?!?!?

lol. I announced it last week (Monday I think). I think I'm only around 3 weeks pregnant (by when I O'd and when we did the deed). Not too far along yet. I haven't even had a chance to call my doctor's office to let them know, since I've been on vacation visiting Preston's Godmom for the past week. I get home Monday, so I'll call then.
I'm excited, but very very anxious. I keep thinking how it will be affecting Preston (since he is my life right now) and I can't stand to miss out on all his snuggles because of a new baby. I can't imagine loving another being as much as I do Preston, but I know women think this all the time.
Sorry for my rambles :-) Oh and I'm waiting for a ticker till I get into the doctor's office.
cute tat! I want to get one for my daughter and have been thinking about her birth sign which is gemini but need help with ideas. anyone want to offer ideas??
Re: PIP: My new tattoo!
