Almost 4 yrs old and finally pooping!

I haven't posted on here in a long time - probably a year or more.  If any of you remember me (maybe, maybe not), you might remember I have been agonizing over my daughter Ava's unwillingness to go poop since she was 21 MONTHS OLD (she'll be 4 next week).  So, for over 2 years now.  She would hold it in, cry, get really crabby, and basically needed to wear a pull-up all the time.  Obviously, if you hold it in, it gets hard, which makes it more difficult to get out, which hurts and starts the cycle over and over again.

This past week we were on vacation in Colorado and she has suddenly had a change of heart.  She has been going when I put her on the toilet for a week now, and today, for the VERY FIRST TIME, she told me, "mama, I need to go sit on the turt <that's how she says it> and go poopoo!"  And she went three times!  OMG...I cannot tell you how excited and destressed I am.  It has been a problem that has been on my mind and heart for two years...nothing is worse than seeing your baby in pain and realizing there IS something that can be done about it, but that it's something THEY have to make the choice to do, and won't.

Anyway.  Sorry if TMI, but I figure we're all moms and deal with more than our fair share of poo. :)  And if any of you are dealing with this or have dealt with it, you can share in my elation. :)  PS - anyone dealing with this, I would be happy to talk with you.  I know how bad it sucks!
