3 Year Old... Is it normal

Is it normal that my 3 year old is just impossible to live with lately?  It seems like he is never happy, and on the rare occasion that he is happy, he will realize it and decide to be crabby.  He will just push me for no reason and anything sets him into a screaming fit.  Even when I try to give him what he wants it doesn't make him happy.  I'm guessing it's just this age and maybe because he's a boy, but none of my friends have boys and their girls are not this bad.  What am I supposed to do with him??

well your son, has he been dx as being threeteen?  My dd has, at times.  It is a condition where they push all your buttons. She's getting easier and it doesn't happen often but when it does, watch out!  Now that she's getting closer to 4 (late November) it seems to be going away.

My almost 3 year old is going through the same thing. My DD does the exact same thing as yours. I think it's an age and temperment thing.

Three is the new two

I thought we were blessed with a perfect child because we sailed through the terrible twos with no problems but then the threes hit & it is crazy here.

He is lucky he is cute :O)
