blocking off the xmas tree

if you celebrate & have a tree, how do you plan (if at all)to block it off from your sweetpea? tia

    We have a study in the front of the house where I plan to put the tree.  It has french doors so I guess I'll just leave those closed.  Otherwise I'll probably just put a baby gate around it?  LOL

    well i'll definitely not put any ornaments on the bottom! i just thought about this the other day, not sure yet. maybe someone here will give me answers
