We're thinking about trying it for the first time but wondering if it's any good. I just realized they don't actually cook it for you which I prefer but if it's good enough it might make up for it. Any reviews? Specific likes/dislikes?

Of all the take n bake places, Papa Murphy's is my least favorite. Its ok and their De-lite pizzas are the best (super thin crispy crust), but their sauce isn't my favorite.

I didn't even realize there were other take n bake places. This is the first time I've heard of it. We usually get Papa Johns so I thought we would try something different this time.

We have two local places that do take n bake, plus Nick N Willy's. Nick N Willy's is the better of the chains, IMO. https://www.nicknwillys.com/locator/
I like take n bake because I live in BFE and we don't get delivery out here.
Their prices are really good (and they are ALWAYS running specials) and I think their pizzas are good. My favorite from there is definitely the Hawaiian. They use gigantic pieces of Canadian bacon.
We haven't had great experiences from Nick N Willy's. We haven't had it in a while, but I seem to recall their prices were comparable to local places with fully cooked pizza that tastes better.
So if we're looking for a less pricey option we go with Papa Murphys. If I'm spending as much as a local place, I'll go with the same priced fully cooked option--less work for me!
