How are you doing lady? I saw your post in the checkin re: the iron supplement. I have been on this months and yes it does make you constipated. I was a mess for a while. I started taking the metamucil pills twice a day which helped also. Then my doc gave me a sample of a new iron supplement called Bifera which is suppose to be easier on the stomach and yes it works. I stopped having to take the metamucil. Maybe ask your doc about it? I was on two different ones before this. One was the over the counter supplements which were the worde and I had to take 3x a day, the second was better then the first, but the Bifera was by far the best.
Let me know if you have any questions. GL in the meantime!

Re: Carla...
Hi Kristina! I'm doing pretty well, other than just the general discomfort is growing the bigger I get! We're getting ready for our Outer Banks vacation in two weeks - can't wait!!!
My doctor's office recommended Slow FE. I'll take my first dose tonight and if I feel weird, I'll definitely try the Bifera. When were you put on the supplement? Did you notice any difference in your energy level or stamina? Of course I'm tired and easily winded from just being pregnant, but wonder if some of it has to do with the anemia.
Can't believe how close you are!!! Didn't you say you were going to deliver at Greenwich Hospital?
Carla
Can I come with you to th eouter banks? Oh how I miss it. ;-) Hope you have a great time!!
How did the first dose go? You may not feel any effects for a few days. I was put on the supplement somewhere in my 2nd trimester then they upped the dosage around when I took my Gloucouse test. So its been along time. To be honest I haven't felt a bit of differance. I would never even have thought I was anemic if they didn't tell me.
yep two days till my due date. At this point i think I am going to be late since I have nothing going on. No progress at all. Yes I am delivering at Greenwich. That's where your dad was right?
Let me know how you are feeling.
