Newbie to this site and TTC

Hello everyone!  I just wanted to introduce myself in hopes of meeting new friends on this site and obtaining advice from those that live in the area who are also in the beginning stages of the TTC phase or who have encouraging thoughts as how to get through the initial phases of hoping, praying and waiting.  I live in Manchester and have been married 3 years now.  DH and I are ready for a future STL Cardinals fan to enter our lives!  We have decided to begin TTC in September with the hopes of having a summer baby next year!  I have been doing a lot of reading, planning and preparing for this stage in our life and I'm hoping since we have practiced NFP that this will be a rather smooth process but I am anticipating for this to take several months before I see a BFP on the PT.  Any thoughts, feelings or ideas you can provide will be most helpful and much appreciated!

Welcome!  I am also fairly new and my DH and I have been trying for a few months now.  We are also very eager to see a BFP on the PT.  I see that you live in Manchester, we live out West in O'Fallon.  Good luck to you!

I understand. I am new to this site too.  And my DH and I have been trying for now 3 months.  Amazing how before you would freak out about how you could get pregnant and now...We are so eager too, and my two friends that are now 13 weeks pregnant is not helping me feel any better.

I live currently in South City area, but hope to move to Fenton.

blweyes22 welcome to the site and good luck with your journey TTC.  Please keep in touch with me and I with you as we bgin a new chapter in our lives with the hopes of being mommies in 9 mos!  My inlaws live in Fenton so hopefully we have the opportunity to meet one another sometime!  I have several friends and cousins expecting babies next spring too and I know how you feel as far as hoping and praying you are next to announce the news!  I hope we are fortunate enough to be added to the list of mommy to be in 2010!

Hello all.  I think this is the most people I've seen on this board.  DH and I are also in the beginning stages of TTC, and we are from South County. This is my first cycle off BCP and we are anxiously awaiting what kind of roller coaster we will get.  I don't know if you have lurked much, but I really like the Getting Pregnant board.  It's very informative and funny at times.  Good luck to you all!

Welcome Newbie...I'm a newbie myself.  My DH and I live in Florissant.  I rele need to learn the lingo here, I think I got most of it down, lol!  DH and I just started TTC last month (August).  I expect things to take a few months as well, but I just can't help to wish it would be easy 1st try!  I can't really offer any advise except to just keep yourself occupied with other things and TRY not to think about it.  I know, its not that easy, trust me, I am right there with you!  But the hubby and I started going for walks, bike riding, bowling, reading, site seeing, etc to keep our minds occupied.  In the back of my mind I think about it 24/7 but being occupied helps just a bit.  But, let me tell ya, the fact that every other GF of mine is preggo or already has kids is not helping my baby fever, lol!  Best of luck to you!  Hope to hear and share some good news soon!

So THIS is where everyone on the board is! Welcome and good luck! I'm also new. Married for 2.5 years. Have been TTC since Feb. and have just finished our third cycle of fertility treatments (ouch!). Just over a week till I can take a PT and hope it worked this month! Hopefully your trials will be successful! Keep us posted.

WOW!  I can't believe there are so many people here!  YAHOO finally!  Welcome to all the newbies!  And best wishes on TTC.  It took my DH and I just under two years!  Try to relax and enjoy the experience.  It will sneak up on you when you least expect it!  Baby Dust to you all!
