Cake mix with some fun stuff added in. Strawberry jello powder, margarita mix, flaked coconut.

ooh, I never thought of adding margarita mix to the cake mix...good thinking, chica! How'd they turn out?
I don't think I have ever made cake or icing from scratch. Made people think I have? yeah. But really, Betty and Duncan do such a better job.
