Follistim Dosage question

Just wondering what dosage you all started with. I am reading goodle and alot fo the girls started off at 75 ml, I just started last night at 150 ml...

I had my ultrasound and bloodwork yesterday thats howed alot fo 10mm follies..

Is 150 going to make them grow to fast? I am injecting myself until sunday that this doasge and than blood test again on Monday.

My first cycle, I started out at 150, went a few days and had nothing, then was upped to 225iu.  They will be able to tell more on Monday after seeing your u/s & E2. The first cycle on Injects is really a guessing game until they learn how you respond.  I think for the most part, 150 is a pretty standard starting dose.

I have done two cycle starting at 150, after four days, decreased to 100 for two days adn then triggered.  150 made me stim fast. This cyle they put me on 125 and I have been on that for 8 days and I'm triggering tonight. I feel like I grew more and bigger follicles on the 150.

I'm on day 6 of follistim... my dose has remained at 75

A lot of ladies do start at 75 but it really depends on your age, FSH, past stimulation, etc.  150 is certainly not a huge dose.  Good luck!

I'm on my second cycle of Follistim, Ovidrel and TI.  First cycle was 112.5 iu's per day and I was supposed to do 9 injections.  After day 5 I had 4 follicles that were 14 mm.  So my doctor only had me do 2 more days (7 injections of 112.5 ius in total) before triggering when they were 18mm.  BFN.  I actually started AF on CD 21 or so of that cycle and he said that the early arrival of AF is directly related to the Follistim dose I was on (no idea why).  He bumped me up to 225 iu's per day this time.  I went in after 5 doses and this time I had 5 follicles and they were 10mm. He had me continue the 225iu's per day until this Saturday and then I go in on Sunday.  If we're at about 18mm on Sunday, we'll trigger.  Hopefully the results will be better this month, but who the heck knows.
