    Unless I missed it, they don't mention whether the twins are primarily fraternal or identical.  It would be interesting to know!

    The geneticist researching the town called it "founders effect" wich would make it genetic. Since only fraternals are genetic I would assume that they would be primarily fraternal. ???

    What is crazy is that 10% of the births there are twins, where the global average is 1%.
