Have any of you tried this??? I just wonder how well it works....

    dont waste your money.  Research says that children learn best through play and they are not developmentally ready for this.  It is also basically just a memorization, they are not technically reading.  To be successful at reading you need to know letter sounds, rhyming, and concepts about print.  Sorry, I am a teacher and reading specialist and I have a lot of problems with this.

    It's stupid. I didn't waste my money on it, but DH's grandmother did. ?It comes with a crapload of stuff and Layla does like some of the books b/c of the pictures of animals, etc that it has in it. ?

    DH wanted to get it, I do not!  I don't see any reason why my baby needs to read!  Iwould rather her use her imagination and play before she goes to school and HAS to learn.  Plus, when she does go to school she will be bored because she already knows everything, and then might get into trouble.  I think it's really pointless!
