Update

Mom's Getting Married

It's been a while since I posted, so just wanted to pop in. Things have been super busy! We have been trying to get ready for our little boy in super-sonic speed! It's amazing how fast time flies! The nursery is finally painted and we've got the crib put together and the light fixture painted and put up (some pics are in my blog...link in my sig). I started going through all the goodies we have been given by our gracious friends so I can determine what we still need to get. I still have some painting projects (paint our glider, for example) ahead of me. I'm registering this weekend and taking along some girlfriends and family for moral support/comic relief. That will be interesting. The big focus right now is getting the nursery ready to go.

We travel to meet our birth mother next weekend and we are really excited. We are still getting to chat about once a week for around an hour. She is so sweet and open. I have really enjoyed this time. We are all looking forward to meeting in person.

THEN, today we got the schedule date for the c-section: Sept 24! So, we went from 39 days until baby's arrival to 27 overnight! HOLY MOLY! We gotta get moving!!

Wow, Erica, I'm so excited for you!  I saw the pictures on your blog of the nursery...I think I still need to leave a comment.  I LOVE the light fixture in the room.  It's so pretty.  I love that you got it from the Habitat place.  We have one of them out here, too, and I haven't been yet.  I need to check it out.
