LOL! No Silly-- he knows money trees aren't real, he just expects me to sh!t the money for him. But yes, it does suck big time. In the 9 yrs we've been together he has had: (ready?)
-a brand new $32k truck-for just over a year that we barely broke even on when we sold it.
-about 6-8 different random cars (had each car between 3mo-8mo.)
-a nice old truck, that he fixed up a bit, then spray painted (turned out really good!) and then took it mudding. (had it about 4mo)
-2 motorcycles, I looooved riding those, so I didn't mind. (had the 1st one about a 2 yrs, the 2nd one about 2 years too.)
-2 4-wheelers, each about 6mo.
-2 scooters, the first one he had for 2months, now he just bought a new one about a month ago.
-1 SUV (specific year/make/model/extras) and he happen to find the exact one he wanted. So, we still have that. I refuse to let him sell it though. I said when he gets sick of it, I'm taking it and he can drive my car!
-a paintball gun, he HAD to have, and has only played around with (not actually used!) 1 or 2 times, currently trying to sell it and all the gear.
Um... I'm sure there is more, but that about sums it up. And in all this time-- I've got 1 brand new car that I bought in 2002, and I currently still have it/drive it daily. It's completely paid off too.
Sounds very familiar. And I'll assume you take care of the checkbook and figure out how to pay for it all, right? Mine just has no concept of what he is really spending until I show him.
Yes, I am "sole banker" LOL... the rule is, he has to ask before spending more then $20 on anything and he has to tell me when he buys something so I don't freak out over charges when I see them on our online banking.
