to be sick and be a SAHM.
I haven't been sick in awhile, and when I had been it had been when my husband was home on the weekend.
Migraine + stomach bug + loud and chatty toddler who gets into everything and asks why every 3 seconds = misery
Related, but WTH is with my almost-3-year old talking non stop? It isn't remotely quiet here unless he is sleeping. I don't remember him always being this talkative. If he's not talking, it's a car noise.
Re: I had forgotten how sucky it is
LOl, just wait 'til you get KTFU and can't seem to get off the couch for weeks! I thought I was going to have to send DS away for a trimester or two!
I was just telling MH this morning before E woke up to enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts because soon he'd be awake for the day and he does NOT shut up! It's mind numbing.
I'm sorry you're feeling bad. It totally sucks having to SAH with a crazed toddler when you're under the weather. It always seems to work that P and I end up sick at the same time, so I know your pain.
And, ditto the non-stop talking. Seriously, P does not shut up.
Mind numbing is the perfect way to describe it! Ahhh.
And yes, getting KTFU is probably going to coincide with Jackson taking an extended vacation to his grandmother's house. LOL... I kid, but it sounds kind of nice.
Seriously what is with the non stop talking? Is this a 3 year old thing?
I do get some peace if I turn on Thomas & Friends, but that is equally mind numbing and irritating in its own way.
I can relate to the non-stop talking. Eric has been like that since he was 18 months old. He hasn't stopped since. It is EXHAUSTING on a daily basis.
Hope you feel better soon!!!

Yeah...sometimes I hate the sound of my own name
Although...I can't really complain yet....my children aren't even awake yet!
I HATE YOU LUCYFOX! Although it's 9:30 where you are.
Jackson usually sleeps until around 8-9, but this morning he was up at 7 b/c he took his diaper off and peed in his bed. It was a great start to the day.
That was super sweet of him!
I'll tell you what works here but it's like 6 of one half dozen of the other as far as headaches go- for some weird reason he gets enthralled (i.e. super quiet) with Calliou. I HATE CALLIOU and can't decide if the break of the toddler chant is worst than the sound of Calliou's whiny wussy voice....buuuut something to consider. He doesn't move a muscle when that little brat is on. Calliou is a huge punk but it might buy you 20 min of toddler silence?
Yeah, it totally sucks. And ditto Bellisimo on the 1st tri. Lila started telling everyone that "Mommy lays down and closes eyes". Awesome.
I hope you feel better soon!
Yeah Jackson will quiet down for Thomas & Friends, but that also means I have to listen to Thomas & Friends.
I am never quite sure what is worse.
I just hope if I get KTFU I don't have m/s like I did with Jackson b/c then he'll go around telling people, "my mommy throws up all the time," which is gross and I can't imagine anything worse than me getting sick, Jackson peering at me through the bathroom door and saying, "why you doing that?" Me: "I'm sick." Him: "Why?" and on and on and on.
Yes, It's like someone flipped the switch and now DS's behaving like a three year old. I had fair warning...everyone said "just wait until he's 3" back when he turned two. It all makes sense now.
lol, she outed you!
