I feel like I'm the only one not doing IUI or IVF on here.....I know that's not true, so who else is "stuck" like me?!
A little background...we've tried Clomid/TI, Clomid/IUI, Follistim/IUI, for a total of 6 cycles (all that my insurance covers until I get PG or have a miscarriage. We can't afford to do more IUIs or IVF (prob. wouldn't do IVF anyways for a number of reasons). I've been doing acupuncture off and on this year and have also starting a new charting system called the Creighton Model of Fertility--anyone heard of it/using it?
I love keeping up with everyone on here, and get so excited with every BFP, but feel like I don't have much to contribute since we aren't doing anything with RE....not sure where I'm going with all of this, I guess I just hope that I'm not alone here! ![]()

Re: Anyone not doing ART, but TTC 3+yrs?
I am choosing to work with Creighton Model because we are choosing NOT to do any ART. Luckily I have a local doctor who is trained in NaPro and another one in Columbus who I am seeing in two weeks because I am probably going to need a lap soon. I have done 5 cycles of clomid/TI, and 7 cycles of femera/TI/HCG shots. I have TTC for over 4 years now.
Creighton is great and it took some time to learn it, but it is really easy once you pick it up. I am here if you have any questions.

I just wanted to say that I tried on my own for 5 years before moving on to an RE. You are not alone. I found a ton of support on this board before moving on to an RE a while back and I know there are a lot of people still in your shoes today.
Please don't ever feel like you can not contribute, your story and what you are going through can be inspiration for many others. What is so hard about all of this is that there is many times a financial hold, even an emotional hold, on everything and people do need to wait until the time is right to move on, if they choose to do so.
Maybe you guys should start a weekly/bi-weekly check in so you can see all the people in the same shoes that are out there and gain support from them. Because I do know there are not just a couple.
Good luck!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I just wanted to add that there is an Advanced TTTC check-in once a week, normally Wednesdays. It is for gals TTC 3+ years or have had multiple IVFs. Here is this week's link
