Complete previa

at the anatomy scan today i was told my partial previa at 16 weeks has migrated downward and is now a complete previa ... which they do not think will move anywhere ... i am being pulled out of work by my doctor for the next 8 weeks and put on pelvic rest ... and my next u/s at 28 weeks will determine what the next steps are ... it could be a christmas baby after all

I found out I have complete previa at my big u/s last week.  I have another u/s schedule for 24 wks to see if it has moved at all and am scheduled to get steroid shots around 25 wks.  I am still working and really don't have any restrictions except no heavy lifting (although DD weighs 25 lbs and dr is okay with me lifting her), no sex and no exercise.  Just curious why you've been taken out of work all ready--Do you have a physical job?

I have a complete previa and was put on bed rest @ 24 weeks due to light(pink) spotting 1 time. I will be here till we have our LO which will be via c-section @ 37 weeks. If you have any questions let me know . I have been dealing with a complete previa for 10 weeks now.

Hi,

 I was diagnosed with partial previa at 22 weeks, then at my 32 week ultrasound it had moved to complete previa. I'm 36 weeks now and tomorrow I will be doing another ultrasound to determine the location of my placenta. My doctor told me that if it hasn't moved they will do a c-section at 39 weeks. I hope everything works out good for everyone.

I had a complete previa at 17 weeks and the peri said he did not think mine would move.  I just had an ultrasound last week, and it had moved...there is still hope for yours to move!

I'm a bartender so my job is on my feet all the time and lifting and bending and stretching so i was pulled out of work ... just that job though i still have my office job ... so at least i won't go completely out of my mind being home all the time.

Oh, I see!  I have an office job too and was wondering if being pulled off of work was something I needed to worry about already--I imagine it may happen later though.  Hang in there, it seems like there are a number of us w/complete previa around.
