I got a very faint positive yesterday (7dp6dt) on fred and bfp on ept digital. today I got a very clear bfp on cbe +- and bfp on cbe digital but still the faintest shadow of a line on fred. the woman on the ept certainty 800 line says it picks up at least 50 hcg. I'm so confused. aren't freds supposed to be the best? why is it so faint still? I'm scared to death of another chemical pg and my beta is tomorrow.
Re: experiences with freds
Frer's are not considered the best. It is not as sensitive as half the other HPTs on the market - they just have a better name. Mine were light until about 16 days past (when I tested just to see the line - my beta was already back positive)
Try not to examine the line and put much thought inot it other then it is there, many batches of different tests use different amounts of dyes - the shade doesn't matter, just that there is one!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
