first IVF monitoring apt

Good news!  I had my first U/S and B/W apt. this AM.  Waiting for a call from the nurse with my estrogen level and medication instuctions.

I had 5 measurable follicles!!!  And 16 total follies!  Last time I only had 3 measurable follies at the trigger, so it seems I am responding much better to this protocol.   There are 2 - 12s, 2 - 13s, and 1 - 14 after 4 nights of stims. 
The hope is creeping back in. 

The only thing I am worried about is that I never got AF during this cycle.  I should have had it in the last week sometime.  Im worried that if I do get AF now will my lining be too thin at transfer?  This whole process is so crazy

yay for your follies! are you drinking POM juice? I swore it really helped my lining.

Your follies sound great! I don't know what to think about your lining. It is weird that you didn't get it, but I don't think AF will come now because the injections are orchestrating your hormone levels. AF won't come until you stop taking PIO, and hopefully she doesn't get a chance to come at all. Good luck!

Yaay!!! How exciting!!! I'm so happy you have lots of follies growing!!!

Start the POM juice...8oz a day...and talk to your RE because they can do something for your lining. They had me on baby aspirin, 81mg a day. Have they said anything about how it's measuring?

I have everything crossed for you!!!!

One more thing...when is your estimated ER??

Thanks girls for all the encouragement.  Actually the lining measurement is okay - it is at 8 and was at 4 last Friday.  So it has increased nicely and it is triple layer.  I was just worried about AF showing up and wrecking the lining.  
Nurse said not to worry about AF, at this point she probably wont show.  If she does she will likely be very light. 
Also my estrogen was 1100!  Last time my estrogen level was only 800 when I triggered.  Im so grateful that this cycle is going well.  My first one was one disaster after another.

Glad to hear things are going well.  Yay for many follies!

I don't know much about all the hormones and how they coordinate everything with IVF, but I see you were on bcp.  I would frequently skip my period when I was on bcp, so maybe you just aren't going to get it.

That is awesome!!  Sounds like you are set up for a great retrieval!! (Selfishly, I'm glad to hear of a successful follie count after a disappointing cycle.  Gives me hope!)
