I've been obsessed with living in Vancouver since I was 6 years old. Finally got here when I was 26. I love love love this city. Would be hard to leave.
Although if I won a bazillion dollars I'd spend a few months a year somewhere warm in the 'winter'. Perhaps Seychelles? Lol. I'd travel lots, too. But I bet I'd always keep a place here.
Actually, I can't believe I forgot - if we could live anywhere we would live in Copenhagen. We have investigated it, but other than going for a few years on a temporary visa it is really difficult to relocate to Scandinavia. We are thinking of spending summers there starting in 2 or so years, though

I have been thinking about this lately! I really don't think I want to live here FOREVER. The summers just plain suck after a month. I don't like the snow though so it's tough! San Diego would be nice! (I'll be there in a week! YAY!)
My dream place is the New England area. I lived in Boston for 3 years and just love the whole northeast coast. In reality though, I want to be near my family and would love to move back to MI to be close to my family - DH is willing if only the economy was not what it is right now!!!
If it were overseas - Madrid. Very hip happening city. I travelled to Rhode Island as a kid and loved it. Martha's Vineyard would be pretty cool too. I love beach areas.
I really REALLY want to move back to Ohio, where all my family is. Plus, even though we'd live in a really nice town, it's still LCOL there, and if DH made just what he makes now, we'd be doing fabulous! I hate the town we live in and the schools in GA are horrible.
Now, if I won the lottery, I'm not sure, but not Ohio!
Some island... semi-realistically, Catalina Island. Unrealistically, a Hawaiian island. I was offered a job on Molokai but we didn't take it. Was only for a year. I'm still bummed about that. Ugh.
Re: If you could pack up and move
Gilbert, Arizona.
Maybe someday..
Well, we did just pack up and move last week, but we didn't go far.
Though if we could move anywhere and didn't mind having our families so far away, we'd pick San Diego.

Right where I am - I love Boston and don't want to live anywhere else.
If I had to pick a different place...either NYC or Santa Barbara (where I grew up)

right now I'm digging Portland OR, Seattle or Vancouver (Hi Jade!).
In the past, I've been obsessed with the mountains of NC....Boone perhaps.
Come on up, MOO! We'd have a blast.
