This may sound weird... I don't know where to buy the "kids version" of that stuff, but you could probably go to any pet store and buy the 'no chew spray' and use it too. We used it for a puppy we had one time, and UGH! I touched something that had it on it then touched my mouth (not realizing it was there) EW. Just check the bottle and be sure it doesn't say "not for human/kids"...I don't know what the difference would be really.
I used it on my daughter 3 months ago and it works AMAZINGLY. She is 3 years old. My daughter became obsessed with sucking her thumb. She used to only suck her thumb at night then it started to become all the time. I was really suprised that it worked on her. I thought she would want to wash it off or try to peel it off, though she didn't. Right after I painted her nails with it she went to suck her thumb and she tasted it and made a horrible face and said yuck. That happened a few times and she just didn't put her thumb in her mouth anymore.
Re: Ok, where do I get the nasty finger/thumb stuff?
I used Mavala stop. I bought it from amazon. Not sure if this link works but here it is:
