I wanted to say thanks for the sticker chart idea! I made one last night and Lila was so excited about it today, she talked about it all day, and "tried" to poop on the potty a few times.
BUT she pooped in her diaper tonight right after she went to bed. So, FAIL. I know it's just the first day, but did it take your DD a few days to catch on and actually get stickers?
Yes it totally did. But once she started getting wind that every 5 times she would get a toy, she got better pretty quickly. I'd say after a week with the chart she was consistently telling us earlier and not letting her undies get wet at all. Maybe tell her about the toy and put it where she can see it?
It seems like some stuff works on some kids and totally FAILS on others. But this is what worked with Maddie...just telling her didn't. I wouldn't be too worried about today especially because she was so excited about it.
Thanks! I am going to keep trying for a few more days. I do think the chart made her more aware of what she needs to do since she talked about it all day, so hopefully after another couple of days she'll actually start doing it.

Good luck!
