What are you wearing to your fall shower?

I don't know what to wear. I haven't done any fall clothing shopping yet. I'm having 2 showers, one the first week of October (MIL doesn't know the date yet) and one October 18th.

My shower was a summer shower, but it was chilly so I wore a pair of jeans with metallic flats, a white tank, and a grey long sweater sort of thing.

Cute! Thanks for posting a picture. I don't know why I have in my head that I have to wear a dress. It's probably not going to work. It can be cold here in October! I got married (outside) in October and it was freezing. But of course the next weekend was 75 and sunny.

I can't wait to get a baby bjorn, my cat will love it!?

Wow...IDK I guess it depends on the weather here. I'm having mine around the sametime - guess I should think about it.

Many people do, but I freeze at my parents house (where the shower was) and didn't want to be uncomfortable the whole time.

I'm not sure!  My shower is October 10th.  Really, it could still be nice enough to wear a dress then.  We got married October 21st and the weather was really nice.  I'll just choose 2 outfits to possibly wear and decide as the time gets closer.  I really don't want to wear jeans, not really my thing anyway.

Thanks for the post, I'm going to start thinking of ideas.

I don't even know what I'm going to wear to work tomorrow or what is going to fit next week so why in the heck would I have my outfits for October planned?

I will wear whatever I have on the day of, mine is probably going ot be a surprise.

Most showers I have been to lately, the mom-to-be has worn jeans and a cute top. Also, my sister and I watch out for eachother in these incidences - on the day of her surprise bridal shower, I brought an outfit I knew she would like, then the day of mine, she did the same. I did the same for her baby shower, too!

If yours is a surprise, then ask someone to bring sometihing you would like to wear, DH can take it out of the closet for you!

Maybe a sweater dress or something fall like with tights and flats.

Probably a skirt to one and a dress to the other. Now, I haven't located or purchased either of said items, so I suppose that is subject to change!

Same thing I wear every day.  Jeans & a comfy shirt.  I'm pregnant-I get to dress comfy!

If you want to wear a dress, why not pair it with a pair of leggings or tights? ?I am IN LOVE with dresses with leggings!!! ?That's what I may wear to mine (which is mid-October) but I haven't thought about that far in advance yet lol.

I live in Florida so it will be hot as heck for my shower at the end of October...I have no idea what I'll be wearing...but I do know it will be comfy!!!

I dont have it picked out yet but i definitley know that i want to wear a dress.  I'm hoping to find a sweater dress and cable knit tights.
