Ha, ha, guess it really is still spring, just can feel like summer here in LA by May.  My friend this morning referred to May as summer and I got all worked up in my head.  Thanks for the reassurances.

officially it's Spring, but here in SE TX it's pretty summer-like.  Here our summer starts in April and lasts until November lol.

In Central Texas: May is balls a** hot. But, it's still technically Spring. So, I'd say no worries there.

My question is, when does Spring start? It seems like such a short season!

Technically?  March 21st-ish (Spring Equinox).   Meteorological Spring starts March 1, if I can believe the WGN weather guys.

I live in Chicago as well and I was just thinking the same thing, spring on a good day.  Of course it's the end of August and we are still waiting for summer this year!
