I've just felt crummy all last week and this week, with what I assume is sinuses. I can't get an appt with our PCP for 3 weeks and everytime I've tried to go to urgent care the wait is 3+ hours long (I even tried to get yesterday a.m. right when they opened and there was a LINE!). Too many folks here with the flu.
My head is stuffy and has so much pressure my TEETH hurt. My ears hurt. My eyes hurt. I feel like my whole head is just going to pop. And all the drainage is making my throat sore and making me hack and cough. I've been taking some old cough syrup with hydrocodone in it and crashing super early every night. I feel like I haven't caught up with you guys in ages!
Re: So sick of being sick
I'm sorry Mrs. B. I hate to tell you this, but it gets worse with kids. I never get sick and I've been ridiculously sick over the past 2 months and even had to go to the emergency room at 3 am due to straining a muscle in my neck from carrying H. Note: bodybuilding for 10 years would have helped me greatly in preparing to be a mommy.
Hope you feel better soon. ?

Thanks ladies!
PSU -- you're right and I TOTALLY think that's where I got it from -- kids! My second full-time job (evenings/weekends) is caring for an 11 year old girl who is severely/profoundly disabled -- both physically and mentally. She only weighs 60 lbs but it takes a lot of work to maneuver her in and out of the bath/bed/swing/gait trainer/wheelchair/etc! And I swear I've had the sniffles every week since she and her siblings started school. My immune system is probably in shock from being exposed to all those kiddie diseases.
I am so sorry that you are sick and hope you feel better soon. I have not posted here before, but I noticed that you are from Alabama also. I noticed that you are adopting two babies just a few months apart. I think that is great. We adopted a baby boy last year. He is the most wonderful thing in the world to us! We don't know what we did without him. We are starting the adoption process again to get him a baby brother or sister. The agency we are using make us wait a year before reapplying. I just wanted to tell you that I hope everything works out for you with both of your babies.
