Infertility

Lurker & re-introduction

Hi ladies!

I'm Aimee and I'm a hardcore lurker and very occasional poster.  Even though it wasn't directed at me, I've gotten incredible advice from you all!  I'm doing IVF in November/December.  Its our first cycle.  Last December we had a ruptured ectopic that left me with no tubes, so we took a year off to grieve and recover.  At this point, I'm really excited to get this show on the road!

I look forward to getting to know all the women on this incredibly supportive board :)

I'm very sorry to hear about your ruptured ectopic.  How very scary and devastating to lose both tubes.  I had an ectopic last year and was terrified of a rupture.

But if no tubes is your only issue , your chances for IVF are very good.  Being someone with two useless tubes who did IVF, I know that the docotor told me IVF was invented to get around tubal issues and it works very well for that. You probably know all this anyway!  If you have any questions about going through IVF with tubal issues, send me a message.

    Good luck in Nov!

Ya, it was horrid.  I ended up with a hip bone to hip bone incision rather than the lap.  It was a really tough experience, but God has kept us strong.  Yep, I'm one of those religious ones ;)  We just had our EDD come up last Friday.  The outpouring of friends and family remembering baby love on that day was humbling.  We're thankful that good is coming from heartache.

This is what I hear!  Its hard to relax though.  Thank the heavens for accupuncture :)  I will be contacting you and thanks for offering that!
