If it is Wild Pacific, it has high Mercury.

According to most books/websites I have read say smoked salmon is NOT ok to eat unless it is heated (i.e. cooked in a cassarole or something).

My doctor told me to stay away from tuna, but that small amounts of salmon were acceptable when cooked properly.

I was told no smoked salmon, unless it is hot and has not been allowed to cool.

I was told canned tuna is fine once a week or so. Smoked salmon is a no, but cooked salmon is fine, again once or twice a week.

I have read that all smoked fish is a no no. Regular cooked salmon is okay in moderation although it does have high levels of mercury like tuna and swordfish.
