But only with her %bestfriend%. If K goes anywhere near K's toys she freaks out. Why is she being like this? The are very close and we do alot with the 2 girls but Kateley's new addtitude is awful! and like I said its only toward this one child!
1. There was an incident that -- to adults -- was a no biggie, but to the illogical mind of your toddler daughter, caused her to think that her friend was a threat to her stuff.
2. It's just a developmental thing that would have happened at this time anyway, and your DD is focused on this other child because she sees the other child a lot more than any other kids. She may be comfortable enough with her best friend to show her anger/frustration/possessiveness about toys.
Either way, just model how to share, and help her understand that letting her friend play with a toy doesn't mean never giving the toy back. And, know that most toddlers pass through a pretty possessive stage and that it passes as they grow more mature.
