Hello everyone! I am new to this message board. A friend just told me about it and I love it! I really need some help so any answers would be appreciated.
Background info: This is my 4th cycle TTC. It is also my 4th cycle since coming off BCP. My prior 3 cycles were 29-30 days in length. This cycle is now 38 days. I do know that I ovulated later then normal this time. I do not chart but I am fairly certain of this because I had LOTS Of EWCM and slight cramping. I am now 19DPO based off that information. Yesterday I took a First Response and it was BFN. However, AF is nowwhere in site.
This is where I need help:
1) Should I give up this cycle? Is there any chance I could be pregnant? I ask mainly because the weekend is approaching and I do not want to drink alcohol if there is still a chance.
2) Are there any other reasons why AF would be so late? Should I be concerned medically?
3) Any real life situations where this occured?
Thank you all very much!

1) Calm down
2) are you charting?
3) no af in 60 days - go to your dr
To answer your questions:
1) don't give up until AF shows. Have faith and hope. There is still a chance, chill! When in doubt don't drink
2) do you have a history that would cause you to be concerned? stress, illness, just coming off BCP could cause your cycles to be wonky
3) this entire board is full of women who have had this happen.
This is exactly what I was going to say.
Keep testing every few days until you get a BFP, AF, or 60 with no AF then call your doctor.
This. It's hard to tell when exactly you O'd without keeping track of your temps, but it's definitely possible your body got ready to O with all the EWCM and then just didn't yet. You can check out my chart of my last cycle - I thought I was going to O a couple times before I actually did, all the way on CD43. GL!
1. There is still a chance for you to be pregnant. Unfortunately, without charting, there is not way to know when you ovulated and how late you really are. You have to continue POAS until you get AF. If you get to 60 days without AF or BFP, call your dr.
2. You either ovulated later than you think (so you are not really 19 dpo) or you have not ovulated at all. Sometimes your body gears up to ovulate, thus the ewcm, but decides not to.
3. Yes, it happens very often.

If you don't get AF in 60 days (startig from CD1) see your doctor.
Just because you had EWCM doesn't mean you have O'd and I would start charting next cycle, it will determine if you are ovulating! GL!

One last question and this may be a dumb one:
If I did not ovulate at all this month does that mean I will not get AF at all? In that case when does a new cycle start?
