I'm pissed. My doc didn't call after reviewing my (out of town) u/s follie check. So now I'm going to have to rely on your opinions. Or your opinions to wait for his or have him paged.
Ultrasound at 9am yesterday, cd11, said lead follie was 18mm, a couple behind at 16 and 12 (??) from 100 clomid. Ovidrel trigger, TI with MF. (LPD issues if that matters.)
The doc that did the scan said "I would recommend [now] or wed am. "
Do you think trigger now, wed am or page the doc who should have called me back in the 1st place? It's almost 9pm his time now.
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Re: Ack! Dr. didn't call! Do I trigger?
I would have him paged for sure - and if I didn't hear back, I would trigger in the AM.
Good luck chica!
Your follies weren't honkin' big yesterday (on clomid! on injectables this would be a different convo) but for clomid - not honkin'. I'm thinking he maybe doesn't want you to trigger 'til tomorrow. BUT ... he should have called or had a nurse call.
You could start having sex tonight for safety - and you could trigger in the morning if you call and they say "oh yeah, we wanted you to last night." There's no magic to triggering at night as opposed to morning. Or, you could page dr. no-call-back and see what's up. But if you decide to sit tight - I think you're OK.

I am thankful every day for my miracle after infertility.
And thrilled to be pregnant again after FET!
Page the doc
Good luck

Ditto LucyP. I would def. have sex just in case, and perhaps use an OPK to see if you are already surging. The diff between tonight and tomorrow is not a huge one.

cool. If you're all cool with these honeys waiting until the morning to pop, (well, let's just pop one, shall we) then I'm going to wait until the AM. I'm going to presume that someone else is on call, and I guess I don't want to bother him this later. I'd rather him feel like crap in the AM when he realizes his error.
I did talk to his nurse this am, and his was to be in 2pm (their time) today. So whatever happened to that I don't know.
We have scattered reception here at the beach house, but I would get a msg if I had one.
If anyone else has opinions please chime in, I once again think you are all wise and wonderful ladies, and I promise to go to a *REAL* RE next time. lol, if this cycle tanks. thank you for fooling around with this silly clo-mo stuff. I'm humbled.
page him. He should have called...
(but I am still bothered that we dont know your E2 levels)
i would wait till 2am and then have him paged and tell him you couldn't sleep because he didn't call back when he should have. doctors that are dealing with time sensitive matters and don't return phone calls deserve to be woken up!
good luck!
