DD allergist appointment today.

So we have a follow-up appointment with our allergist. At 5 months we found out DD had an allergy to oat, at 18 months the oat allergy had disappeared but she had an egg allergy. That was a tough one to deal with! We went back today to have her retested for egg and also the big 3- peanuts, tree nuts, and shellfish. The dr tested her for 12 different things. Turns out she has out grown her egg allergy and all nuts are fine. However, she is SEVERELY allergic to crab. Who knew? Shrimp and other fish were fine, but no crab. Even though her allergy was rated a 6+ on a scale of 0-6 I feel ok about, since it's easy to avoid.

Glad that's all she's allergic to b.c it's an easier allergy.  The only places I have to be careful are Chineese/Japaneese restaurants.  Sometimes crab is in fried rice, sushi, or egg rolls.
